Dash Halfway Training Ride (170km)

This Packages specially put together for anyone training for the Nedbank Desert Dash – December 2021.        

Cycling Training Ride

Saturday cycling – Windhoek to Halfway mark with Fully Back-up vehicle with bike trailer & camp setup. Departing 14h00

Number of Clients Need for Departure

  • MINIMUM: 5 x clients
  • MAXIMUM: 10

Transport

  • Transport will be in a custom build Safari Truck with bike trailer. You need your own bike!

Desert Dash Training Day 01

Day 1 - Departing Windhoek - Saturday

Depart 14h00 from Arebbusch Travel Lodge. Cycle up Kupferberg Pass. Waterpoints every 45km on route. 170km to cover to Halfway Mark. Late evening finish +/- 22h00.

Sleep over on stretchers under the stars or in tent of preferred, that is provided & will be put up by Mabaruli staff.

Meals Included: Light Packed Dinner at camp (Saturday night late)

Desert Dash Training Day 01

Day 2 - Transit back to Windhoek - Sunday

After relaxed wake up, we scramble eggs, toast & coffee, before packing up & transferring back to Windhoek in vehicle. TOUR ENDS back at Arebbusch Travel Lodge arriving +/- 11h00

Meals Included: Breakfast Sunday morning

 

What’s Included

  • Truck, fuel, bike trailer, driver & camp assistant.
  • Overnight camping gear: tent, mattress, sleeping bag & pillow
  • Saturday night – Dinner and Breakfast Sunday morning.
  • Waterpoint stops will have cycling snacks, coke & lots of ice to fill bottles
  • Hot water to wash after the ride will be provided at camp setup.

What’s Not Included

  • Medical Insurance, alcohol, cooldrinks & bottled water.
  • Riders to pack own snacks & drinks for cycling.
  • Bring own bike & cycling gear.
